How it Works
How can I benefit with a virtual phone number?
With our virtual phone numbers, you can choose a local, national or international number, then forward it to the destination of your choice. You can give your virtual number to anyone you wish, so that they can call you using a local number, which would be a major plus for any business by adding that local trust to your business. Or, you can use the virtual local number to make cheap international calls by selecting a local number and forwarding it, with our super cheap international rates.
Where can I forward calls to?
You can choose any phone in the world to forward calls to. No extra equipment is necessary, all you need is the phone number where you would like to answer calls, and that number will ring when your virtual number is dialled. No need for internet connection, or other hardware. There is no limit to the amount of virtual numbers you can forward to one destination number - excellent for tracking marketing.
What call quality should I expect?
Only the best. We use tier-1 carriers to route all calls, so unless there is a network problem in the area where are dialling, you can expect top-notch clear call quality to all destinations.
Do you offer Freephone 0800 numbers in countries abroad?
Yes, we certainly do. We have a range of toll free 0800 numbers in the UK and many other countries abroad. These too can be forwarded to any destination you require at our super low rates. You can choose from our full range of numbers on the prices page, or contact us if you can't see the number you are looking for, or would like a specific number.
How does your service differ?
By providing excellent support, we strive to be here for the customer. By using tier-1 carriers, we provide quality, whilst being wholly committed to saving you as much money as possible on your calls. An additional plus is the option allowing you to choose if you would only like to receive calls from up to two specified numbers, or from all callers.
How much do your numbers cost?
We don't charge you for the actual number - only for the package of calling minutes. Prices vary depending on the virtual number location and destination number chosen, eg forwarding to a landline could be cheaper than forwarding a number to a mobile phone. You can see full prices on the prices page. The price you see is the price you will pay. Calls are billed per second, so no missing minutes and hidden fees. There is also no set-up fee.
How do you take payments?
Payments can be made via Paypal or bank transfer. Should you wish to pay via bank transfer, you will have to contact us first. We don't store any payment details. When paying using Paypal, you have the option to pay an automatic recurring payment, to ensure your number stays active, using your credit or debit card. Alternatively, you can make a one-off payment which will usually be less economical. Being a pre-paid service, as soon as the payment has been received, your number will be automatically activated, and you will be ready to start making and receiving calls.
What happens if I go over my allowance?
Should you use more minutes than were available in the package you selected, your virtual number will cease accepting calls. To start receiving calls again and keep the same number, you will have to either restart your package by calling customer services on +44 203 743 9165 or you can wait until the start of your billing date if you have selected to pay on a recurring basis. If you have chosen a one-off package, you can select a new package from scratch on the prices page.
When can I cancel my number?
You are free to cancel your subscription at any time you choose to. We understand you may need a number one week for a trip or similar, but not the next, hence we don't lock you in to any long term contracts. There are no charges for cancelling your number, although you will lose any unused minutes active on your virtual number.
How can I track my usage, and billing date?
By logging in and visiting the My Account section, you will able to see all the details of your packages, including amount of minutes remaining and the date your number is due for renewal, as well as full call records.
